We have received confirmation dat the NEDC values will be removed from the certificate of conformity from 1 January 2023. This means that all cars produced from this date onwards will have only WLTP values. So WLTP values will have to be used for the various tax calculations.

Since this is a European-level decision and changes an official document (the certificate of conformity), all carmakers will be impacted in the same way and at the same time.

This change also affects cars already ordered with a production date in 2023, as this change depends on the production date. We strongly recommend that you review the implications of the disappearance of NEDC values with your adviser in good time.
